First Lesson
It is quite natural to be nervous before your first driving lesson however ProDrive Motoring School instructors will put you at ease straight away. So that you know what to expect this is what typically happens on a first lesson
After initial introductions the instructor will ask to view both parts of your provisional license. You will then be required to read a number plate at a distance of at least 20Metres. Following this the instructor will drive you to a suitable location where you will be taught how the controls operate. If time allows you will be taught how to move off and stop the car safely and have plenty of opportunities to practise this procedure. The lesson will be tailored to match your individual learning pace, with opportunities to ask questions at any time. At all times the instuctor is able to maintain full control of the car should this be necessary. This ensures that all learning is carried out in a safe environment.
